Dress & Grooming Code

The following rules apply at all times to all SCM&L students. The purpose of our dress code is not to deprive individuals of expressing their personal style, but rather to provide a unified representation of the objectives of both Covenant Love Family Church and Destiny College. Dress must always conform to standards of good taste.

Women’s Dress Code

Women should use modesty, discretion, and professionalism in their on-campus dress. Extreme styles such as gothic or anything similar, which do not reflect the standards of CLFC and Destiny College, are prohibited. No tight-fitting dresses, pants, jeans, skirts, and shirts will be allowed. Dresses or tops with spaghetti straps, or strapless, will not be permitted. In addition, low cut, and sheer or see-through tops will only be allowed if worn with a shirt or sweater underneath or covering the top. Lace trimmed tanks will require a shirt or jacket.

No flip flop sandals will be allowed.

Men’s Dress Code

Men should be well groomed, clean, and neat in appearance. Pants or slacks must be belted at all times. Shirts may be untucked but remain neat. Athletic jerseys, sweatshirts, and “hoodies” are not allowed. Beards and mustaches should be neatly trimmed at all times. Haircuts must be moderate and modest. No earrings allowed by male students.

No flip flop sandals will be allowed.
